Chapel on the Boulevard is the new home of the congregation formerly known as Citywide Christian Assembly. After outgrowing our building in Hillcrest in the north eastern side of Adelaide, we moved to Hendon in the north western sector, in August 2007. Here we have recently launched our new Sunday morning format consisting of three components - the 'Chapel Hour', Communion service and Sonseekers. (Click for details)
Many Adelaide folk will be familiar with our association, over the years, with the numerous performances of Murray Wylie's 'Jerusalem Passion' across Adelaide. We plan to continue presenting high quality music and programs of such a nature, and our new venue at the Chapel on the Boulevard is utterly suitable for this.
Our fellowship involves families from all over Adelaide, and is vitally connected, through Restoration Fellowships International, to scores of similar groups around Australia, S.E. Asia and Papua New Guinea.
Our sincere desire is to declare the good news of the divine 'Life' that is in Jesus Christ, which He has come to bring to all who will receive Him. As part of the broader community of the "Body of Christ", our corporate hope is expressed in the words of the apostle Paul, 'Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her ... that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing.' (Eph 5:27)
